We were delighted to hear from OW's Sophie Shillito (1999) and Toby Fountaine (1998) who have been firm friends since meeting at Wells in 1990. Toby started his brilliant publishing company Blue Mark Books a few years ago which has published several brilliant titles and this year is publishing Sophie's book All The Little Places which is out next week. It's described as "a hauntingly descriptive poetic-prose tapestry of fairytale fragments, alive with spirit of place. It takes the reader on a train ride from the rural village, through the dark and mysterious wood, past the ancient chalk pit and the dead lying in the cemetery, over the salty river and into the city." We wish them both the best of luck.
