It was a pleasure to welcome back a group of OWs to rifle through our Archives last week!
After a tour of the School and a Lunchtime concert, the group perused year books, photographs and other memories we had managed to collate.
We had a beautiful afternoon tea whilst listening to stories from years spent on the Athletics field, performing on stage, and playing Cricket on the lawn.
The themes we searched through the Archives for were Drama Performances and Boarding houses. It was particularly special when David Masters (OW 1962) was able to spot himself in a Junior School production of Blackbird Pie. fromm 1953. Philip Wells (OW 1953) was also kind enough to bring in a full school photograph from his time at School which everyone enjoyed looking at.
We love hearing stories and learning the impact that Wells has had on each OWs life, so thank you to all who came and participated.
I am already looking forward to next year!
