Cedar's Drawing room was host to a wonderful evening this week; our inaugural Former Staff Gathering. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces including Former Head Master, John Baxter, Former Principal, Elizabeth Cairncross, and Former House Master of Cedar's, Alywn Gillen.
Plus many, many more!
The room was full of festive cheer, with former colleagues sharing stories from their time at Wells and also where their lives have taken them since. It was the perfect combination of nostalgia, good company and mince pies!
This was very much intended as a first get-together, and we hope it will be the first of many opportunities to reconnect in the future for as many former staff as would like to come. Please get in touch with the Foundation office if you would like to be invited to the next event.
Huge thanks to Bill & Anita Leggett for helping to get the event off the ground, I'm sure this is the start of a wonderful tradition!
