7 OWs help with the L6 Mock interviews

Alumni News

One Friday in January saw all 98 Lower Sixth Formers experiencing mock interviews as part of their 'Steps to Success' programme. Seven of our OWs alongside 15 other interviewers, all from backgrounds as diverse as TV production to the military, gave up their time to come into the School to put the Lower Sixth through their paces. The Lower Sixth were interviewing for notional GAP year opportunities at the School. The pupils were asked to identify which part of the School they would like to work in and the interviewers were impressed with their ideas which ranged from music and sport to science technicians and hospitality to name a few. The Lower Sixth really can feel proud of the impressions they made on our interviewers.

The OWs who supported afternoon were Pollie Bromilow and Anna Jackson, both from the 1992 Year Group, Ann Whalley OW 1979, Rachel Hansen OW 1984, Jamie Hammick OW 2002, Emily Johnstone OW 2004 and Charlotte Sheaf OW 2007.  It was great to see former pupils working alongside and supporting our current pupils in their final years at School.  Thank you, your time and experience is invaluable for them.
