OW Maddie Perring (2019), who you may have seen at our first ‘Old Wellensian Rising Stars’ concert last September, is celebrating a number of significant achievements. She sang in a live-streamed masterclass with internationally renowned tenor Nicky Spence, OBE, at Wigmore Hall on Tuesday 21st January and will be performing at Garsington Opera this summer, as well as singing in the Wigmore French Song Exchange in June. This is a delightful full circle moment as she will be mentored by Dame Felicity Lott, who Maddie sang with as an 11 year old Chorister.
