OW Zoë Tweed, who left Wells in 2017, has recently been appointed as third horn in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

After Wells, where she studied with Simon de Souza, she went to the Royal Academy of Music where her teachers included Richard Watkins, Michael Thompson and Martin Owen. Zoë had been on trial for the principal positions with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra before taking up her position in the RPO.
