Tom Penhall (2015) returned to Wells to speak to Sixth Form geologists about his degree in geology at Aberdeen University and his career so far. Since graduating he has worked as a mining geologist in the Peak District and is currently designing and constructing part of the HS2 tunnel with the engineering company Costain in London. It was great to hear of Tom's success and for him to help inspire the next generation of Wellensian geologists.
