Artificial intelligence brings lost Picasso back to life

We were thrilled to see Belle Brown (2016) forging her career in art history, an interest first developed here at Wells. Having studied History of Art at Edinburgh University she is now interning at the AI art fair, Deeep in Shoreditch.

She is pictured here holding a recreation of a paining by Picasso which was discovered by X-ray. The Spanish artist’s depiction of the crouching nude has been reproduced in full colour with 3D-textured brushstrokes almost 120 years after he painted an entirely different composition over it: The Blind Man’s Meal.
