The beautiful RAF Club in Mayfair was the setting for our Old Wellensian Reunion Dinner on Friday evening.
Approximately 60 Old Wellies congregated in their finest attire for drinks and dinner on a rainy February evening.
We were thrilled to have a large cohort of the Class of 2021 who enjoyed catching up with their Head Master Alastair Tighe and Head of Sixth Form Sally Rowley.
Special thanks go to Ed Nicol for helping us organise the event at the club and to Gerald Duke, the most senior OW in attendance for saying Grace.
It was wonderful to have some good 'groups'- particularly the class of 2016, and then those of Classes 1988, 1989, 1990 & 1991. A special shout out to those who travelled from far to join the occasion, particularly Paul Friemel and Julius Scholz who flew in from Germany to join the class of 2016.
Yearbooks and photos were shared and new memories were made. We loved hearing lots of stories from across the years, many a little 'blue' to repeat here!
The feedback on the evening has been extremely postive and we look forward to hosting you all again soon. The Summer Reunion in June will come by quickly but if you would like any help organising another gathering please do get in touch with Sophie or Jess.
