We were delighted to hear from Simon Shercliff CMG OBE (1991) and Foundation Fellow that his next posting will be as the Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran. He writes: "I’ve long hoped to be given the opportunity to get back out there - it was my first posting as a junior diplomat 20 years ago. Times have of course changed, and it will be a challenging job, for sure. But I’m sure it will give my family and me plenty of fun and fulfilment too." We hope to see him in Wells again in the not too distant future.
