Back by popular demand!
Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, we are delighted to invite Old Wellensians to return for our next Archive Afternoon at Wells Cathedral School.
Join us as we once again open the School archives and rediscover photographs, memorabilia, and past editions of The Wellensian, each offering a glimpse into the people, places, and moments that have shaped our shared history. Whether you attended last year or are joining us for the first time, this is a relaxed and enjoyable opportunity to reminisce, reconnect with old friends, and reflect on your time at School.
You will enjoy a curated display from the archives, alongside afternoon tea hosted by the Head Master, Mr Alastair Tighe.
Date: Wednesday 12th March 2026
Time: 2.00pm to 4.00pm
Venue: Cedars Drawing Room
Those who wish to make a day of it are also very welcome to join the following earlier activities:
12.00 noon: Tour of the School
1.05pm: Lunchtime Concert in Quilter Hall
Please RSVP by 1st March using the button below, for planning purposes.
Limited parking is available for Blue Badge holders. On-street parking can be found on College Road or at Waitrose by Mundy’s Meadow.
We very much look forward to welcoming you back.
P.S. You are very welcome to bring a guest and if you have any archive material you'd like to share with us, please do let us know.
