Who is invited to play?
Staff and parents (and keen family members!) are welcome to play. We are asking for handicaps to help us with groupings, but this does not have to be an official handicap - any handicap up to 36 is fine.
The event will be in competition format (see below) but the emphasis of the day is fun. Everyone is welcome, from accomplished players to those who need to hunt high and low for the clubs they know they have somewhere in the shed! You can enter as an individual or as a pair, a three or a four and we will select fourball groups accordingly.
Competition format
Everyone will tee off in a group of four. The best two scores of the fourball, per hole and relative to individual stableford handicaps, will count. The highest total of points per fourball will walk away with the main prize (prize currently to be confirmed!). There will also be a ‘Nearest to the Pin’ and ‘Longest Drive’ competition too!
Cost: £50 per person
This includes a round of golf at one of the highest rated golf courses in this area, prizes and a donation to our wellbeing fund. Lunch and evening dinner are optional (at an additional cost). All proceeds go directly to the School’s Annual Wellbeing Fund. We are specifically raising money for The Haven, a wellbeing ‘hut’ to support pupils’ with their wellbeing.
